Shalom Foundation was born from Jayapaul’s desire to give back. He wanted to help children with stories similar to his own—orphans and those from impoverished backgrounds, eager to learn and yearning for a brighter future. Jayapaul was inspired by Kindernothilfe’s strategy, which connected people blessed with resources to those in need, creating a bridge of support and hope for children. Having personally benefited from such a connection, it was natural for him to extend the same help to others.

Today, Shalom Foundation stands as a testament to Jayapaul’s vision. It has grown tremendously, touching and transforming the lives of countless children by providing a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. Though Mr. Jayapaul passed away in February 2024, his legacy lives on. The foundation’s team, inspired by his mission, continues to carry forward his vision, offering hope and a future to hundreds of children every year.
